Have a product, event or service that you want to tell the world about? Not sure how to start?
I can help!
I've written copy for all sorts of events, products and services. I love the challenge of copywriting. It pushes you to educate the reader about something like a product, while simultaneously sending them off into that wonderful, imagined world where they get to experience the benefits of it – often in as few words as possible!
Information, education and entertainment come together to pique interest and motivate readers to become customers.
Theresa Regnier - Design Manager Catalyst Communication
Sometimes, I get to use all my work history in a single project. Working on a small team of three, I served as Project Manager, Team Writer and Designer to create an engaging exhibit on the English tradition of Change-Ringing.
With the audience always top of mind, we translated technical details into ‘Wow’ factors that all visitors could appreciate. By entertaining readers, the exhibit panels made the complex art of change-ringing accessible to newcomers.
Left and below: Examples of exhibit panels. Having just started to learn the art of change-ringing myself, I helped the local bell instructor transform student-focused material into easy-to-read and visually-appealing panels that could be understood by those just learning about this English tradition for the first time.
Whether you want to tell people about your new product, share exciting information or give them more reason to visit your store – you have a goal.
Let’s motivate your readers to take action toward that goal by sharing valuable content they want to read!
Right: The cover for the Wildflower Hikes Guide to get visitors hiking in Washington’s Columbia River Gorge and enjoy a stay at a local BnB.
Generating new content and repurposing blog posts we already had, I created this visually appealing 14-page guide to also work as a content asset in a newsletter sign-up campaign.
Writing that engages as it informs readers is what turns them into customers. And when space is limited, every word counts! Creating copy for brochures, catalogues and the like demands big creativity in small places.
Writing for a syndicated guide to cycling products produced Catalyst Communication, I had the opportunity to write for variety brands who offered very different products.

Every page I wrote for the Cycling Guide focused on representing the brand authentically while moving the reader internally so they imagined the benefits the product themselves.
As the social media manager for WickWërks Chainrings, I conceptualized, managed and deliver the Meet the Crëw campaign.
The effort was designed to highlight WickWërks sponsored riders and introduce the public to the variety of and chainring ratios employed by athletes.
Increased user engagement and the conversations generated on how to use the rings supported increased product sales.
